The National Weather Center (NWC) is proud to announce its official launch of NWC Virtual Visits! Are you interested in having a meteorologist visit your class virtually? We cover topics of discussion such as:

  • Careers in Meteorology
  • STEM Awareness in Education
  • The National Weather Center Building and Partners
  • How Can I Be a Meteorologist?
  • Weather Research and Vehicles
  • Weather Forecasting
  • Severe Weather Education and Awareness

And much more!

NWC Virtual Tour

Click here to watch our virtual tour of the National Weather Center in Norman, OK.  We encourage those interested in scheduling a virtual visit to watch before scheduling in case questions arise.

 


 

Please make sure to fill out and submit the Google Form for the dates and times you are interested in having a meteorologist meet with your class. Your form will be forwarded to our NWC Outreach Coordinator, who will work to schedule a final time and date for you.

Virtual Visits are available Monday through Friday
from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (Central Time)

Please note currently we are only offering virtual visits to educational groups (schools, homeschooling, youth groups, etc.). If you have any questions regarding virtual visits, please contact the NWC Outreach Coordinator for more information.
