The University of Oklahoma Data Science and Analytics Institute's online Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics will help you become a data-driven leader and decision-maker in this growing career field. The online Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics program is 33 credit hours and can be completed in 24 months. The program curriculum includes 24 credit hours of core courses and 9 credit hours of electives.

An Investment in Your Future

Tuition for the online M.S. in Data Science and Analytics program is $32,500 for the entire program. Fees associated with the program are included in this cost. Books and materials are additional.

Once accepted into the online M.S. in Data Science and Analytics program, students are required to submit a $350 non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be applied to your first semester’s tuition, provided you enroll in the program and start with your designated cohort class.

Program Details

Admission to the University of Oklahoma’s Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics program is selective. The Data Science and Analytics Institute in the Gallogly College of Engineering has the following requirements for admission:

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA
  • Coursework in
    • Calculus I
    • Calculus II
    • Linear Algebra
    • Two semesters, or a year of high language programming
  • TOEFL exam (international students)

    • Official transcript(s) must demonstrate a conferred bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or previous postgraduate level studies with a level of achievement acceptable to the Admissions Committee

Please note that International students have an application deadline and may require English Proficiency documentation. 

The online Master of Science of Data Science and Analytics admissions committee operates under a rolling admission process. Once the Office of Graduate Admissions has received all required application materials and evaluated transcripts, the committee will strive to respond to all applicants within two weeks.
