January 1, 2022, submissions for Open Records requests will be through our new portal website NextRequest. Click the dropdown box to make an Open Records Request.  


 

NEW: Open Records Training Session!

We are offering once a month virtual training session for other departments within the University regarding Open Records and Records Retention. Topics will include: What is Open Records, what is a record, what is records retention, what information is confidential, etc. We can cater our trainings to specific questions and needs, with an basic overview for all.  

If your department is interested in scheduling a training session via Zoom, please contact our Open Records Coordinator, Melissa K. Dowling-Hartwig at melissakdh@ou.edu. Please give us two weeks in advance to schedule your session.  

 

 

 

Open Records Office

To ensure University operations continue in an effective manner and that risk of the spread of COVID-19 is mitigated, please submit Open Record requests through NextRequest or by fax at (405) 325-9034.

All walk-in requests should be submitted in-person at the Open Records Office located on the 4th floor of Whitehand Hall 339 W. Boyd St. Room 416, Norman, OK 73019 during normal business hours, Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm.
