Meet your Small Group | Students will be able to get connected with their Small Group Leaders and group the evening before Camp Crimson begins. SGLs guide students through their Camp Crimson experience and help introduce them to college life on OU's campus. |

Camp Crimson Opening Session | Join us for Opening Session as we celebrate the start of Camp Crimson. Get hyped as we gather in Lloyd Noble Center and soak up the Camp Crimson experience, fun, and traditions! |
First-Year Mandatory Training | Complete your in-person mandatory trainings for first-year students during Camp Crimson! |
Small Group Times | Get to know the group of peers that you will spend time with during Camp Crimson. Small group times include fun activities, conversations about college life, and community building. Students often find some of their first OU friends in their small group. |
Class Kick-Off | Spend the evening in the Gaylord Memorial Stadium as we welcome the Class of 2026! Learn some of the OU traditions and take part in the Class of 2026 Photo on the football field! |
Late Night Events | Go dance the night away at a Camp Crimson favorite, Retro Night! Not into dancing? Don't worry, our late night events include movie nights, game board hub, craft nights, trivia and gaming, and so much more! |

Campus Resource Tour | Students will explore campus and meet with offices and departments that will serve them during their time at OU. |
Norman Preview | Meet members and businesses of the Norman community! Get to know local restaurants, banks, gyms, and so much more businesses that make Norman a wonderful community. |
First-Year Mandatory Training | Complete your in-person mandatory trainings for first-year students during Camp Crimson! |
Small Group Times | Build community, have conversations about life at OU, and have fun with a group of peers and your Small Group Leaders. |
Late Night Events | Another night of fun all across campus! Go silent rave at Sarkey's Fitness Center and check out all of the ammenities they have to offer. Late night events include Residence Hall events, movie nights, game board hub, craft nights, trivia and gaming nights, and so much more! |

OU Story | Current OU students share their own unique stories about their experiences on campus, who they are as a member of the OU community and how they found community and support during their time at OU. |
Mental Health Session | This session will focus on the holistic wellness of college students and provide tools and resources for students to be successful during their time at OU. |
Awareness Gallery | Walk through an interactive exhibit that illustrates different issues that college students may face during their time at OU. |
Small Group Times | Build community, have conversations about life at OU, and have fun with a group of peers and your Small Group Leaders. |
Relay Race Competition | The ULTIMATE Camp Crimson tradition. Compete for your Camp family in a series of activities and earn the coveted spot as Relay Race Champions. |
Late Night Events | Need a cool down? Head down to the OU pool and float while watching a movie at the Dive-in Movie Night. Late night events include the game board hub, craft nights, trivia and gaming nights, and so much more! |
August 15th | 5-Day abbreviated Camp Crimson for Transfer Students begins. |

University College Welcome | Join the University College and learn more about the resources and ways they support you as you navigate your first year at OU! |
Degree Granting College Sessions | Spend time and engage with peers, faculty, and staff who are a part of your future Degree Granting College. |
Major and Career Exploration Sessions | Not sure about your major? Interested in learning more about a particular major? Attend a Major and Career Exploration Session to see what possibilities are out there! |
Small Group Times | Build community, have conversations about life at OU, and have fun with a group of peers and your Small Group Leaders. |
Late Night Events | Was one Retro Night not enough, no worries! Go dance the night away at Retro Night 2.0. Not into dancing? Don't worry, our late night events include movie nights, game board hub, craft nights, trivia and gaming, and so much more! |
August 16th | Panhellenic & IFC Recruitment, OU Pride Rehearsals, and ROTC activities begin. |

MCPS Student Welcomes | Multicultural Programs and Services (MCPS) in the Office of Student Life invites new and returning students to the Multicultural Student Welcome events hosted during Camp Crimson. These events are an opportunity to meet students, faculty, and staff and are a great way to get connected and learn about ways we can support you before school starts. There will be free food, fun giveaways, and much more! Each Multicultural Student Welcome is best geared towards providing resources for those who identify within each community. All are welcome to attend any combination of the four welcomes hosted by Student Life.

New International Student Orientation Aug. 17th | NISO Connection is an orientation designed to help international students succeed in their transition to life at the University of Oklahoma. The orientation is pact with fun activities that will give international students more insight into the history and their upcoming experience at OU. At NISO Connection, international students will be put in a small group, led by two current OU students, NISO Peer Mentors, who answer questions and act as a resource for international students throughout the entire semester. International students will also meet people from different offices across campus that will share helpful information including important campus resources, strategies for coping with culture shock, and guidelines for succeeding in the classroom at the NISO Connection Resource Fair.
