Leadership

Discovery Guides, our peer educators, serve as mentors for Start Sooner and our sister program, Sooner Discovery. These undergraduate students plan evening activities, tutor, edit papers, work in the Start Sooner office, and make Start Sooner a fun and educational experience for all of our students. Each Discovery Guide is a leader on campus and excels academically. They are selected from a competitive pool of student leader applicants and participate in an extensive training prior to the program.
