Application Documentation
The OSCER team maintains hundreds of scientific programs and software packages for our users. Below is a list of software installed on the Schooner and Sooner systems.
All applications are provided through environment modules, which allow users to easily load and manage available software.
Users may also install applications in their own /home directories; documentation for installing common software with pip or Mamba is available here. Another convenient option is to use Apptainer containers, which provide preconfigured software environments without requiring local installation. Additional information about using Apptainer on OSCER systems is available here.
Some applications are difficult to install or require administrative privileges. In those cases, you may request an installation by emailing support@oscer.ou.edu. Please include the name and version of the software, along with a link to the software or its documentation.
