Minutes for the First Open Meeting of the year 2002, Thursday, October 17, 2002

13 members attended the meeting, and completed the surveys forms. The number of the people that would like to participate in different activities was as follows:

· Family film festival: 6

· Fund raiser: 7

· Bake sale: 7

· Adult couple activities: 6

· Community service project: 6

· Membership drive: 4

· OAS award banquet: 5

· Tribute to veterans: 1

· Adult singles activities: 5

· Santa in the union: 6

· Monthly special events: 12

· Stroller stampede: 3

· Senior citizens' tea: 2

The feedback we got about the time preferences for the meetings was as follows:

· Days: 6

· Evenings: 5

· AM: 4

· PM: 6

Different suggestion were made by the participants, they include:

· More ways to meet adult students on the campus

· "Jamm Sessions" or some kind of music events

· Pot Luck Dinner with special speakers that address issues of interest to adult students

· Movies!

· Food :)

· Bowling

· Golf
