Family Weekend
Family Weekend welcomes all members of OU families to learn more about the organizations, people and places that have become important to your student! Whether it's your first time visiting campus or you are returning, this weekend offers a great opportunity for families to tour the campus, participate in a variety of activities or traditions, meet other OU families, and spend quality time together. Family Weekend, hosted by Campus Activities Council, takes places in both the fall and spring semesters.

To have fun and spend time with your student!! The University of Oklahoma will open its doors for family, friends, and community to visit campus. There will be many departmental open houses, tours, student performances, athletic events, presentations, comedy shows, and more. Ask your student what they want to do and to show you around campus and Norman. We’ll be here to provide options for your family to make a plan that suits you.
Family Weekend kicks off Friday afternoon. Events are scheduled throughout the weekend. While guests may arrive at any time during the weekend, please consider the schedule of events as you make your plans.
Yes! The University of Oklahoma Family Weekend provides family members opportunities to experience student life. Please use your best judgment in terms of bringing very young siblings along for activities.
No, students should follow their regular Friday class schedule. Check with your student to see what his/her schedule permits.
