Dr. Blaylock is the Rath Chair and Associate Professor in Accounting in the Price College of Business. He earned his Ph.D. in business administration with an emphasis on accounting from The University of Washington. 
    
Dr. Blaylock's research focuses primarily on the overlap between corporate taxation and financial reporting and has been published in top accounting and finance journals including The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. 
    
He has taught courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in financial accounting and taxation.
