With over 20 years of language teaching experience, Keely Robertson has enjoyed her work with university students and business professionals in the United States and Spain. Ms. Robertson's Bachelor of Arts includes a major in Spanish and a minor in French and Education from Mississippi College in 1991. She then earned a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Mississippi in 2002. She is finalizing her doctoral work in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum at the University of Oklahoma in the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education. Ms. Robertson looks forward to graduating in May 2022.

Robertsons' research centers around how second language learners acculturate during their first year of university study and discovering best practices for teaching language acquisition skills. Keely has more than 20 years of language teaching experience, including English as a Second Language, English Composition, Spanish, and French.

Because of her extensive experience working with international students and living abroad, Ms. Robertson is passionate about encouraging effective communication across cultures in the classroom. Her previous language teaching knowledge influences her instructional emphasis on active listening and critical reading, both vital to business professionals. Ms. Robertson is excited about expanding her understanding of communication skills for professional settings.
