Romora Edward Sitorus
Finance Doctoral Student

Romora Edward Sitorus is a PhD candidate in Finance at Michael F. Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma. Romora joined University of Oklahoma PhD program in 2016. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universitas of Gadjah Mada and master’s of science in finance and investment from Durham University.
Romora’s research interests include corporate governance, energy finance, and entrepreneurial finance. He has published a refereed article in Journal of Economic Integration and a book chapter on Corporate Governance of Oil and Gas Firms.
Outside of academics, Romora gained professional experience in ConocoPhillips & Central Bank of Indonesia in Jakarta. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, soccer, and traveling.
