Xia "Summer" Liu is a Finance Ph.D. Candidate from the University of Oklahoma. She earned a B.S. in Economics and Finance from South China University of Technology in 2013, an M.S. in Finance from Johns Hopkins University in 2014, and an M.S. in Quantitative Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2018. Her research interest is in empirical corporate finance, especially in corporate governance, executive compensation, and venture capital. She teaches finance courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
