Arvind Garg

Born in India, raised in USA, graduated in 1984 with B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, MBA in 1993, and have more than 30 years’ experience with three international oil companies. First nine years for Mobil USA in technical roles (operations engineering, corrosion engineering, field management, etc.); four years for Amoco developing new fields in USA, India, and Venezuela; 20 years Shell International in a commercial capacity.

A commercial economist in Shell with main areas of expertise being commercial evaluations, project economics, and portfolio management. For Shell, have worked at NAM (Netherlands), Petroleum Development Oman (Muscat, Oman), Commercial Advisor in the Muscat governance office (Oman), Business Development Manager (Singapore), and Business Course Director for training staff worldwide on business economics.

Currently run own consulting company aimed at customized solutions for training, economics, and project framing. Married with three kids and hobbies are movies, badminton, and time with family.
