Shuang "Sophie" Zhai

Shuang "Sophie" Zhai is an assistant professor of management information. She received a Ph.D. at Iowa State University, where she studied management information systems and computer science. Her research interests include business analytics, data mining, text mining and machine learning, and her teaching interests include business analytics, quantitative methods, database management and programming. Through her business industry experience, she emphasizes hands-on projects and practical skills for her students.
