Steed SOA Welcomes Three Ph.D. Students

Ling Zhang worked as an accountant in her home country of China for five years before completing the master’s in accounting program at the University of Nevada, Reno. Zhang’s research interests revolve around the association between tax avoidance and corporate governance.
Brady Haering came to OU from Pennsylvania as an accounting undergraduate student and was so impressed with campus life that he recruited his younger sister to enroll at OU. Haering enters the Ph.D. program directly upon completion of the BMAcc program. His research interests focus on how individuals make accounting-related decisions
Hunter Stohlmeyer, a licensed CPA in Missouri, comes to the Steed School Ph.D. program after working as a tax professional in public accounting. Her research interests include tax and financial reporting.
