Reuben Talaiver (BBA, Accounting, 1998) has been promoted to managing director at KPMG’s Dallas office.
2000s
Kyle Thompson (BBA, Accounting, 2001) has joined Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, as principal in the transaction tax practice, based in the Dallas office.
Michael C. Mitchell (MBA, 2004) has been appointed to the boards of directors of Ballantyne Strong and GreenFirst Forest Products Inc.
Zach Payne (BBA, Accounting and MAcc, 2009) has been promoted to managing director at KPMG’s Dallas office.

IN MEMORIAM
Mason Bridegan (BBA, Supply Chain Management, 2019), has passed away at the age of 25. Mason graduated from Broken Arrow High School and was on the University of Oklahoma men’s tennis team, serving as team captain his senior year, according to a bio on a GoFundMe page set up for his medical expenses. After graduating from OU, he moved to Naples, Florida, where he worked for a large aeronautical company. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma in 2020.
