Mr. Albert


Mr. AlbertPhil B. Albert is President of Pelco Structural, LLC. Albert holds over 39 years of executive operating experience and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma Baptist University.  Albert started his career working for an accounting firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved to manufacturing in 1981.  Albert spent 24 years at JEM Engineering, the last 10 as President.  Albert was responsible for all aspects of daily operations and strategic planning.  In 2005, Albert, along with partner, Phil Parduhn, opened Pelco Structural, LLC, an infrastructure manufacturing company, located in Claremore, Oklahoma.  Pelco designs, manufactures, and provides logistic solutions for steel infrastructure products used in a variety of applications.  These applications include electrical transmission and distribution, traffic control, sports lighting, cellular transmission, and electrical substation structures.  In February of 2019, Pelco Structural celebrated its fourteenth year in operation holding all major industry certifications including: American Institute of Steel Construction, American Welding Society, and the Canadian Weld Bureau.  In addition to various awards and certifications, Pelco Structural holds OSHA’s distinguished Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) Certification, 2008 Veterans of Foreign Wars Employer of the Year, Claremore Chamber’s Business of the Year in 2009 and 2018.  In 2012, Pelco was the first recipient of the Entrepreneurial Excellence in Oklahoma Award presented by the Oklahoma Department of Labor.  In 2014 Pelco was awarded the Regents Business Partnership Excellence Award for its collaboration with Rogers State University, by the Oklahoma State Board for Higher Education.  Albert has been personally recognized as Claremore Chamber of Commerce 2008 Business Citizen of the Year, Claremore Progress’ 2009 Progressive Citizen of the Year, Oklahoma Magazine’s Best of the Best CEO in 2016, 2017, and 2018, the 2016 recipient of the Larry Mocha Advocacy Award, the OCAST Impact Award for services to the community in science & technology, the 2016 Oklahoma Baptist University Profile in Excellence Award, and was named one of the 2017 Tulsans of the Year.  Albert received the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s Chairman’s award in 2018, and was recognized as a 2018 Junior Achievement Honorary Tycoon.  Albert serves on the Board of Directors for New Dominion, LLC and Vast Bank.  He is an Advisory Board Member for BancFirst and UMB Bank.  Albert serves as a member of the University of Oklahoma Board Of Regents, having been appointed in 2016 by Governor Mary Fallin, and is the former Chairman of the Will Rogers Commission.  Albert served as Chairman of the Tulsa Regional Chamber in 2017.  He is the Chairman-Elect of the Oklahoma Academy, a Vice Chairman of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Board of Directors, and a member of the Executive Board for the Oklahoma Business Roundtable.  Albert is an advocate for growth leading him to serve as the Chairman of the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority until June 2016. Albert has also served on the Claremore Public School Foundation, the Claremore Chamber of Commerce, and the Will Rogers Memorial Foundation.  Three of his four children are graduates of The University of Oklahoma.
