Dunham College offers a variety of programming throughout the year. Programming includes scholarly, social and cultural events. Among the events are:
Dunham Days and Dunhampalooza
Dunham Days (fall semester) and Dunhampalooza (spring semester) are our week-long celebrations of Dunham College. Our College Council hosts a variety of academic, social, artistic and creative events throughout the week.
Coffee & Conversation
A fun, laid-back event, Coffee & Conversation gives our fellows a chance to meet together weekly over coffee and snacks. Sometimes we'll have a guest speaker, and sometimes it's a group-lead conversation about current events. No matter what, it's a great way to take a break and relax with your Dunham friends. (Day and time change each semester. Be sure to check the flyers for updated information.)
Our take on a tradition that dates back to the early years at Oxford University, the Midnight Buttery is a late-night feast that occurs about once per month, usually to celebrate the completion of midterm exams or a special College accomplishment. We bring out lots of board games, music, and delicious food as the college fellows and guests celebrate together.
Once a month, we mix it up and bring in some food from a Norman restaurant for a special Sunday night community dinner. The meal is free and the event is always fun!
We have 3 All-College Dinners throughout the year. The first one happens at the start of the fall semester and helps us kick off the year. The other two happen at the end of the fall semester and at the end of the spring semester. At these two, we honor our graduating seniors (fall and spring) as well as our outstanding residents, and our student staff (spring only).
Hall Council Programming
Floor programs are also offered throughouth the year by Hall Councils. If you'd like to be involved with your Hall Council, talk to your Resident Mentor.
