Executive Officer


Commander Christine Felice was born in Cincinnati, OH and raised in Ohio and Texas, but considers herself a native of Houston, Texas.  She graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.  She reported to Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Pensacola, FL and upon completion of OCS, CDR Felice was commissioned an Ensign on March 22, 2002.

CDR Felice conducted flight training in Pensacola, FL and San Antonio, TX earning her wings of gold and designation as a Naval Flight Officer in August 2004.  After completing fleet replacement training at Patrol Squadron THIRTY in May 2005, CDR Felice reported to her first sea-duty assignment with the “Red Lancers” of Patrol Squadron TEN in Brunswick, ME.  During that time, she completed two deployments to U.S. Sixth and Seventh Fleets and a surge period to Southcom.  She served as the Ground Training Officer, NFO Tactics Officer and Avionics/Armament Division Officer.  During her tour, she earned designations as a P-3 Patrol Plane Tactical Coordinator (TACCO), Mission Commander and Instructor Tactical Coordinator and was the squadron detachment OIC to SOUTHCOM. 

CDR Felice reported to the “Bloodhounds” of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron THREE ZERO at Naval Base Ventura County Point Mugu, CA as an RDT&E Category A Test NFO in August 2008.  Her qualifications include NP-3D TACCO and RADAR Operator, NC-130F TACNAV, S-3B TACCO, Mission Commander and detachment OIC.  She served as the NGRSA Project Officer, Assistant UAS Project Officer, Change of Command Coordinator, S-3 Platform Coordinator, Assistant Operations Department Head, Flight Officer, S-3 Simulator Coordinator, and Maintenance Division Officer.  She completed the Defense Acquisition University Level 1 certification in Test and Evaluation.

In July 2011, CDR Felice reported onboard the USS Carl Vinson in San Diego, CA as a Tactical Action Officer (TAO) and completed a deployment to U.S. Fifth Fleet.  She served as the Operations Department Training Officer, Combat Systems Training Team Coordinator, Assistant Command Duty Officer and Controlled Substance Inventory Board Senior Member. 

CDR Felice reported to the “Marlins” of Patrol Squadron FORTY at NAS Whidbey Island for her Department Head Tour in November 2013.  During that time she completed two deployments to U.S. Fifth and Seventh Fleets and multiple detachments to NAS North Island in support of C3F operations.  She served as the Detachment OIC, Command Services Officer, Administrative Officer, Deputy Maintenance Officer and Maintenance Officer. 

In March 2017, CDR Felice reported to the “Warlocks” of Scientific Development Squadron ONE in Patuxent River, MD.  She served as the Government Purchase Card Approving Officer/Certifying Officer, Maintenance Officer and Project Director.  She completed the Defense Acquisition University Level 2 certification in Program Management.

CDR Felice reported to Commander, Carrier Strike Group EIGHT at NAVSTA Norfolk in April 2020.  She served as the Force Protection Officer and the Lead Coordinator for their deployment with the HNoMS Fridtjof Nanasen.  She earned her Acquisition Professional Membership in Program Management.

CDR Felice assumed the duties as Executive Officer University of Oklahoma ROTC in August 2022.

Her decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (three awards) and various unit awards and campaign medals.  She completed her Master of Business Administration from Indiana University in August 2020.

CDR Felice resides in Norman, OK with her boxers, Dolce and Brandi, and her cockatiel, Dusty.
