RuSSA participates at the
Forum of Russian Compatriots

On June 20 the 2d Forum of Russian Compatriots in the USA was held in New York. Russian-Americans from across the country, which represented different organizations, and Russian government officials attended the Forum. More than a dozen speakers discussed a range of topics, including media, business and economy, culture and youth work. Read more...

RUSSA Cultural Night III- November 9, 2007

For the first time, the Russian Speaking Student Association offered authentic cuisine from Russian speaking countries during RUSSA Cultural Night III.

More than 200 people attended the event enjoing the national dancing, musical performances, funny and entertaining skits and the finale RUSSA enthem. Check out the pictures...

Cultural Night III


	Russian Speaking Student Association hosted RuSSA Movie Night on September, 25, 2008. More than 40 people watched "The Barber of Siberia," a beautiful film depicting some of the very interesting aspects of Russian culture. Before the movie the guests also got a chance to enjoy pizza, popcorn and Russian music. Movie Night

Russian Speaking Student Association at the University of Oklahoma hosted its second Game Night on January 31, 2008. Despite the snowy weather gamers still made it to the gathering Oklahoma Memorial Union and played chess, checkers, backgammon and many other games.

RuSSA Games Night is an annual cultural and educational event that is called to introduce OU students to national (ethnic) games of Russian-speaking countries, as well as well-known popular games such as chess and chequers. Guests also were acquainted with the ethnic variations of these well-known games.

Game Night
