Route 66 Classic 15 Information

What is the Route 66 Classic?

The Route 66 Classic is the first tournament that the Oklahoma Academic Team hosts during the school year. The goal of this tournament is to provide a fun, enjoyable introduction to the quiz bowl season for collegiate quizbowl teams in the southwest region.

Essential Information for Route 66 Classic 15

• Date: to be determined
• Time: Registration begins at 8:30 AM, and the tournament begins at 9:00 AM.
• Location: to be announced (link to campus map)
• Questions: to be determined
• Fees: to be determined officially, but will resemble the one listed below
  • Base Fee: $85
  • Additional Team Discount: -$10 for each additional team
  • Buzzer System Discount: -$5 for each functioning buzzer system (no limit)
  • Moderator Discount: -$15 for each competent moderator
  • Travel Discount: -$10 for every 200 miles traveled to the tournament as determined by Google Maps
  • Minimum Fee: $30
