- Friday, Feburary 13, 7pm philanthropy at the Omniplex Science museum in Oklahoma City
- Social/Projects Committee
- A confirmed Game's Night to be planned
- Need help working on more Movie Nights
- Need money and people for:
- NASA Robot/Satellite development events
- Guest speakers
- A visit to Cape Canaveral to see a shuttle launch!!!
- More t-shirts (think next year people!)
- discussed formation of a Fundraising committee
- need to find a good time for the next meeting (suggested 6pm)

If you're interesed in working on these events or would like to be a committee chair, please let us know.
- Long Term goals
- Observatory Project
- Put the observatory to much greater use. We want to plan student
hosted observing nights for elementary and high school kids.
Plus, we plan to invite guest speakers to do presentations and lectures
on various space topics. More information will be available as this progresses.
- Future Disscusion Topics
Think about group researching of topics and short written reports (suitable for publication here)
for the meeting discussions.
- Value of educating the public about space
- implications of NASA's goals for the next 10 years
- Pro's and Con's of the commercialization of space
- How to bring rocks and other samples back from other planetary bodies (i.e. Mars, Europa)

Meeting Started: 5:30pm

- Space Week handouts have arrived
- We are now an *official* S.E.D.S. chapter!

- Due to delays, we are waiting until after spring break to print the shirts

- Set for Saturday, March 21, Cate Center aroung 8pm

- Trying to get NASA news briefs from the Journalism dept.
