The Hispanic American Student Association, commonly referred to as HASA, was established in 1981 at the University of Oklahoma. The purpose of the organization is to serve the university and surrounding community by emphasizing the culture, heritage, and traditions of the Hispanic/Latin American community at OU. HASA organizes and supports programming that enhances student's educational, personal, and professional development.
HASA is a Department Sponsored Organization and is advised by Latino Programs and Services with support from Multicultural Programs and Services and the Office of Student Life. For more information, contact Juan Cabrera, Advisor at juancabrera@ou.edu.
