Fraternity and Sorority Programs and Services Staff

The Fraternity and Sorority Programs and Services team utilizes a "community advising model" when working with student leaders and chapters. Each team member works with specific programs, advises chapters in all five of our Greek councils, and meets regularly with student leaders from council leadership.

Use the information below to put a face to a name, find a best contact for specific chapters or councils, and get information on FSPS initiatives.

Jill Tran

Fraternity and Sorority Programs and Services Coordinator

Jill Tran serves as the Fraternity & Sorority Programs and Services Coordinator within the office of Student Life. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication and a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.

Jill began her professional career as a Leadership Consultant for her Greek organization and then came home to the University of Oklahoma to advise and recruit for the MBA Program. She has served as the Panhellenic and IFC Advisor as well as the Associate Director of Student Life overseeing Fraternity and Sorority Student Life. Jill loved her fraternity & sorority experience as an undergraduate and after college life. She loves working with a group of people who are so willing to help students be successful.

In her free time, Jill loves spending time with her family, volunteering with her church community, teaching fitness classes, and monogramming anything she can get her hands on. If she were to give a piece of advice to an incoming student interested in the fraternity or sorority experience, it would be to go to all the informational that are offered that interest you or go through the formal recruitment process with an open mind.  Find what best fits for you and if you decide Greek life is not a fit for you then there are so many opportunities and possibilities for you to thrive at OU.  Make the most of your undergraduate years!
