NPHC Executive Council

The NPHC Executive Committee is elected/appointed in November and serves a one-year term that follows the calendar year. They work together for the betterment of our NPHC chapters by planning events, educational opportunities, and furthuring the NPHC mission.

Responsibilities: Presides over all National Pan-Hellenic meetings of the Executive Board, special meetings and General Body Meetings, be the official spokesperson of the organization, and oversees the execution of duties of all National Pan-Hellenic executive officers. Serves as the Chair of Fall and Spring Greekdom 101 sessions in conjuction with the Programming Chair.

Responsibilities: Assumes the duties of the President in the absence of the President. Assists the 2nd Vice President with creating two events annually that feature collaboration with OU NPHC Alumni. Serves as the Chief Academic Officer for the council in respect to planning and implementing study hall hours and academic networking opportunities. Chairs the council's community service efforts by planning a minimum of three events per semester.

Responsibilities: Presides over the creation of NPHC Plots on campus. Serves as the Social Activities Committee Chair and responsible for all events hosted and/or co-hosted by the council such as: Humpdaze, Yardshow, Greekdom 101 and 2.0, Met Gala Banquet, Show 'N' Tell. Acts as the delegate to the Black Student Association.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and monitor the Orgheads calendar, organize scheduling of all NPHC events, and keeps official records for all NPHC operation inlcuding meetings, activites, and programs. Heads the distribution process of all meeting minutes to chapter presidents and the Council Advisor.

Responsibilities: Maintains accurate records of expenditures and receipts of all university account funds, issues checks for the expenditures of all the funds upon receipt of vouchers properly executed, prepares SGA budget each fall, and oversees and monitors any necessary financial paperwork.

Responsibilities: Manages the time and order for all executive and general body meetings. The Parliamentarian maintains order within the council by mediating chapter conflicts and issuing fines and sanctions for violations of the constitution.
