The Norman campus has moved to Phase IV of its Return Plan. As the nature of COVID-19 remains dynamic, this plan will remain dynamic. This plan applies to all Norman faculty, staff, student employees, students, contractors, and invited campus visitors.
The university encourages masking indoors, and masking is strongly encouraged for all individuals in high-density settings, such as classrooms and at special events.
The University of Oklahoma is planning for a resumption of in-person classes at regular capacity university-wide for the fall 2021 semester. The university will use the summer to phase back to normal classroom capacities.
The Accessibility and Disability Resource Center at OU will continue to meet the needs of students with disabilities and provide the necessary accommodations to ensure equal access to online and on-campus courses and services.
In the event OU Health Services becomes aware that someone on campus has tested positive for COVID-19, OU Health Services, on behalf of the state or local health department, will contact individuals who are considered close contacts of the infected person, as defined by the health department.
