All students, faculty and staff can receive a COVID-19 test through OU Health Services. To cover the cost of the test, individuals are encouraged to file a claim with their insurance provider. Members of the OU community who do not have health insurance will not be charged.
When you arrive for your appointment, please enter through the south doors.
Remember to bring your OUID and insurance card (if applicable) to your appointment.
Patients must wear a mask inside Goddard Health Center and are encouraged to remain distanced from others.
OU-Tulsa students and employees who do not have COVID-19 symptoms and have not had close contact (been within 6 feet, for approximately 15 minutes or more) with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days or with someone who has been tested for COVID-19 and whose results are pending in the last 14 days, are welcome to receive a COVID-19 test through the Health Department or their off-campus primary care provider or urgent care.
OU-Tulsa students and employees who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or who have been recently exposed as described above, must complete the Online COVID-19 Screening and Reporting Tool. The clinical team will contact you to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 test at OU Physicians Family Medicine Clinic in Tulsa. Students and employees must remain off campus and out of clinicals or other academic settings until cleared by the clinical team at OU-Tulsa Student Health.
OU-Tulsa students and employees who receive a positive test at a location other than Family Medicine must report that result through the Online COVID-19 Screening and Reporting Tool as well; only negative PCR test results can be used for clearance to return to school or work.
OU Health Sciences Center Campus
HSC students and employees who do not have COVID-19 symptoms and have not had close contact (been within 6 feet, for approximately 15 minutes or more) with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days or with someone who has been tested for COVID-19 and whose results are pending in the last 14 days may schedule a COVID-19 test at the local Health Department test site or at a participating pharmacy near them.
Please keep in mind that HSC students and employees who receive a positive test at this or any other location must report that result through the Online COVID-19 Screening and Reporting Tool.
HSC students and employees who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or who have been recently exposed as described above, must complete the Online COVID-19 Screening and Reporting Tool. The clinical team will contact you to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 test on the HSC campus. Testing for students and employees is provided at no charge. Appointments are required, and the testing location usually provides results within 24-30 hours.
