Graduate Certificates
In addition to the Master of Arts in Organizational Dynamics degree, the ODYN program offers two graduate certificates: Human Resource Management and Project Management. Each certificate requires the completion of 4 specialization courses. All coursework completed for the certificates will apply towards the Master of Arts in Organizational Dynamics degree; in addition, the graduate certificates can be achieved separate from the degree and are available to students in other graduate programs and certificate-only students.
Required Coursework
Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management
A graduate certificate in Human Resource Management will help students to better understand how to maximize employee performance in order to meet the strategic mission of an organization. Completion of the graduate certificate program will reflect achievement of knowledge and skills in the field of Human Resource Management. The HRM graduate certificate requires 12 hours of coursework. Students complete a total of 4 courses from the following list:

Graduate Certificate in Project Management
This certificate will help students to better understand how to manage organizational projects in an efficient and effective manner in order to meet business goals. Completion of the graduate certificate program will reflect achievement of knowledge and skills in the field of Project Management. The PM graduate certificate requires 12 hours of coursework. Students complete a total of 4 courses from the following list:

Graduate Certificate Admissions
Current Norman-based Graduate Students: Those students who have already been admitted to the Master's of Arts in Organizational Dynamics program or another Norman-based Graduate program need to complete a Change of Program request in Slate in order to also be eligible to earn an ODYN Graduate Certificate. Be sure to choose the "returning user" option and indicate that you are currently in a program at OU. The Change of Program request will allow students to also complete the ODYN certificate program in conjunction with their existing Master's program. Current OU-Tulsa students interested in applying for a certificate that is outside their major department may be required to submit additional materials as part of the online application process.
Other Prospective Students: Those who are interested in pursuing either the Human Resource Management or Project Management graduate certificate and are not already admitted to a Norman-based graduate level program program must complete the application in Slate. Be sure to choose "First time user" if you are not currently enrolled in a program at OU.
Application Questions and Requirements: Students who have questions about this process can email the program at odyn@ou.edu. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA over undergraduate or graduate level coursework and submit the following materials:
- Transcript(s)
- Current resume or vita
- Two letters of reference
- Short statement detailing how the completion of the certificate program fits into long-term career or professional goals (3 to 4 sentences)
- Application fee
Note that graduate certificate programs are NOT eligible for Federal Financial Aid when completed alone. Courses for a Graduate Certificate may be eligible for federal financial aid when the students is completing the courses as part of a master's program.
Required Forms Once Accepted
Students who have been admitted to one of the Graduate Certificate programs must complete a Graduate Certificate Program Report Form so that the program and Graduate College can verify that all requirements for the certifcate program have been met. Please be sure to complete the appropriate form from the list of graduate certificate programs listed here. Students will also need to complete a separate graduation application for the certificate program through ONE.
