The Building Blocks of Research training sessions are geared toward medical students and residents. Sessions are available on the ORDSA YouTube channel.

You will learn:

1. Discover how the Schusterman Library can support you during residency - from free coffee to clinical reference tools and including professional librarian assistance.

2. Find out how to harness the power of your library *and librarians* from any location.

3. Identify and utilize PubMed to craft effective search strategies and uncover scholarly literature, quickly and easily.

You will learn:

1. Discover how EndNote can improve your research process from collecting citations during an effective literature search to citation formatting during the writing process.

2. Learn how to use EndNote to import, organize, and store references and PDFs in one convenient location.

3. Master how to quickly and easily insert in-text citations and format bibliographies with EndNote's Cite While You Write tool.

For this training, you will need to install EndNote on your laptop prior to the workshop. EndNote software is freely available for all residents here. To install the software, contact the IT Help Desk and request assistance with installing EndNote X8. If you have any questions, please contact Alyssa Peterson at alyssa-k-peterson@ouhsc.edu or 918-660-3224.
