Trauma Fellow

Allen Nedley, MD
2023-2024 Trauma Fellow 

Allen Nedley MD was born and raised in Ardmore Oklahoma. He completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at Loma Linda California. He is now an orthopedic surgery fellow in Tulsa, OK. In his spare time, Dr. Nedley enjoys mountain biking, woodworking, or camping with his wife and two daughters.

Jonathan Schneider, DO
2022-2023 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Schneider is now an orthopaedic trauma surgeon with North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. The busy level two trauma center covers a large rural region of about two million in population, the entire northern part of the state. He covers pelvic & acetabular fractures in addition to lower and upper extremity trauma and even pediatric orthopedic trauma cases.

Mark Johnson, DO
2021-2022 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Johnson was raised in southwest Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he played baseball and received his bachelor of science in biology with a chemistry minor. He attended Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado for his medical school training. Following completion of medical school, Dr. Johnson completed his orthopedic residency and internship training at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He completed a five-month dedicated pediatric orthopedic rotation at Saint Francis Children’s Hospital in Tulsa, OK and another ten months dedicated to orthopedic trauma rotation at St. John Medical Center and Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

Will Doss, DO 
2020-2021 Trauma Fellow

William Doss attended Denison University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2010.  He played 4 years of Division III football and received the coveted Tamblyn team Award in 2010.  He then attended A.T. Still University where he graduated with the Class of 2015. He completed an Orthopedic surgical residency at NUMC, in Long Island, New York in 2020. Following this, he completed a year-long Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He is practicing Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Practice in Oklahoma City.

Jeremy Sparkman, DO
2019-2020 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Sparkman was raised in southeast Kentucky. He attended Alice Lloyd College and received his bachelor of science in biology with a chemistry minor. He attended Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Kentucky for his medical school training. Following completion of medical school, Dr. Sparkman completed his orthopedic residency and internship training at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He completed a six-month dedicated pediatric orthopedic rotation at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and another six months dedicated to orthopedic trauma rotation at St. John Medical Center and Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

Jesse Putman, DO
2018-2019 Trauma Fellow

Mr. Putman grew up in Valdez, Alaska. He completed his Civil/Structural Engineering degree at the University of Alaska Anchorage.  He earned his medical degree from Touro University in California. He completed his residency at MSU - McLaren Oakland, in Pontiac, Michigan.  He is involved in developing the residency program in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Abrar Adil, DO
2017-2018 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Adil grew up in Central Indiana and completed his Bachelor’s degree at Purdue University. Following graduation, he attended medical school, graduating from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and is Board Eligible by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Zachary Nollin, DO
2016-2017 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Nollin was raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Iowa and received his bachelor of science in biochemistry. He attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri for his medical school training. Following completion of medical school, Dr. Nollin completed his orthopedic residency and internship training at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He completed a six-month dedicated pediatric orthopedic rotation at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and another six-month dedicated orthopedic trauma rotation at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He is now an orthopedic trauma surgeon with INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Doug Smith, DO
2015-2016 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Smith was raised in South Florida and then attended the University of Florida, where he completed a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering. After completing his medical school training at Midwestern University, Chicago of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Smith went on to complete an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Ohio University, Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH. Following completion of the Orthoapedic Trauma Fellowship at OU,  Dr. Smith joined Orthopaedic Trauma Associates of North Texas, at Baylor Medical Center, in Dallas, TX.

Mark Calder, MD, MPH
2014-2015 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Calder was raised in Provo, Utah and graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience in 2002. He received both a master's degree from Tulane's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in Statistics and International Health and his medical degree from Tulane University Medical Center in 2009. Following medical school, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wayne State University based in Detroit, Michigan in 2014.

Dr. Calder then completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma in 2015 at the Trauma Fellowship of Oklahoma (TFO) and has since joined the Orthopedic Trauma Services of Oklahoma group practice and will assist in instructing the incoming fellows at TFO.

Azad Dagar, MD
2013-2014 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Dadgar was raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. He left for Chicago to Loyola University to obtain his Bachelor's degree in Biology. Following graduation, he returned home and performed research at Georgetown University Medical Center prior to entering medical school. He graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2013 and is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Following completion of the Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma, he completed a two-month fellowship with Dr. Hans-Christophe Pape at the University of Aachen in Germany, where he concentrated on the research of critically injured trauma patients. Dr. Dadgar subsequently joined the Orthopaedic & Trauma Services of Oklahoma group practice with Drs. Norris and Stafford. He has a faculty appointment at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine, Oklahoma State University and continues his academic involvement with the trauma fellowship.


Nikola Dobrasevic, MD
2011-2012 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Dobrasevic completed his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  Following graduation, he entered medical school at Wayne State, graduating in 2004.  In 2009, Nick completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center.  He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.  Following completion of his residency, Nick completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Detroit Medical Center. 

Dr. Dobrasevic entered the Trauma Fellowship of Oklahoma, at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Tulsa in October 2011, and completed the fellowship in September 2012.  Upon completion of the fellowship, he joined an orthopaedic trauma practice in Lansing, Michigan.


Robert H. Boyce, MD
2010-2011 Trauma Fellow

Dr. Boyce was raised in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Auburn University with highest honors.  He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, where he also completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery.  Bob then completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.  Following several years of group practice, he decided to pursue additional training in orthopaedic trauma via the Trauma Fellowship of Oklahoma, at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa.

Following completion of the fellowship, Dr. Boyce has joined a group practice at Mountain States Medical Group in Johnson City, Tennessee.  His interests include treatment of complex fractures of the joints, pelvis and hip socket, as well as limb salvage surgery.  He is now on staff as faculty at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.


Robert Garrison, MD
2009-2010 Trauma Fellow

A native of Fort Worth, Dr. Garrison attended Southwest Missouri State University and received a Bachelor of Science in biology.  After enrolling at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and earning his medical degree, Dr. Garrison came to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for internship and residency training.

He was in private practice for six years and developed a special interest in fracture care, prompting him to complete an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship under the direction of Drs. Brent Norris and Paul Stafford at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa.  After finishing the fellowship in Tulsa, Dr. Garrison then completed a three-month fellowship with Dr. Hans-Christophe Pape at the University of Aachen in Germany, where he concentrated on the research of critically injured trauma patients.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Mid-American Orthopedic Association and the Southern Orthopedic Association.  Dr. Garrison now practices with OrthoArkansas, Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Little Rock.  He is now a member of the orthopaedic trauma faculty at The University of Arkansas.
