School of Community Medicine

 The OU-TU School of Community Medicine offers all four years of the doctor of medicine program and a 30-month physician assistant program on the OU-Tulsa campus, as well as eight residency programs and five fellowships. The SCM strives to provide students, residents, and fellows with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in healthcare focused on the community in which they live.

Polytechnic Institute

The University of Oklahoma Polytechnic Institute (OUPI) at OU-Tulsa is focused on high-demand, advanced and applied technology-based education. OUPI prepares graduates to transform industries in Oklahoma by offering innovative bachelor’s degree completion programs as well as masters and doctoral level programs in critical STEM fields. Classes are expected to begin Fall 2024.

The Schusterman Library is the home library for all students, staff, and faculty of Tulsa-based programs from both the Norman and OU Health Sciences Center. The Library is an active partner in accomplishing the educational, research, and community service goals of the University. Early Childhood Education

The Early Childhood Education program prepares students to teach children through the third grade. The program builds on education gained at Tulsa Community College or other two- and four-year colleges. Students at OU-Tulsa Campus will have a focus on working with very young children (birth to age 8) and their families, in a variety of settings.

The OU Polytechnic Institute creates pathways to connect students with high-demand advanced and applied technology-based education. The Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity program combines hands-on learning with projects that span multiple relevant fields of study, you'll make real world connections, including internships and industry-sponsored senior design projects.

Human Relations

Human Relations degrees prepare graduates for careers focusing on social change and the resolution of human relations problems. Students may focus on areas such as counseling, non-profits, women’s issues, race relations, and organizational studies. A specific emphasis  designed to fit a student's professional and personal goals.

This bachelor program focuses on current and emerging workforce needs in the information industry. Sonography is the profession that uses equipment that generates high frequency sound waves to produce images of the human body. The OUHSC sonography program at OU-Tulsa is accredited in both general and cardiac sonography.

The Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, offered through the department of Human Relations, is a 60 hour program for students seeking the Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC) certification for the State of Oklahoma.

The primary goal of the OU-TU School of Community Medicine’s physician assistant (PA) program is to educate quality primary care physician assistants to actively improve the healthcare of Oklahomans – particularly in underserved urban areas.The program provides one of the strongest primary care PA programs in the country.

The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is the preferred graduate degree for public officials, policy analysts, and nonprofit leaders. The OU-Tulsa campus offers MPA courses in night, weekend and online formats.
