OU-Tulsa Computer Science Degree Completion Program

A bachelor's degree in computer science from OU-Tulsa can open the door to a booming job market in the Tulsa area and around the country. Computer science graduates are in high demand, sought after by industries, major corporations, small businesses, start-up software companies, government agencies and universities.  

Starting in the fall of 2020, OU-Tulsa will offer a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a program designed to allow students who have finished two years of lower level computer science courses to complete the final 60 hours required. The program is tailored to fit courses that can be completed at other accredited institution before transferring into the OU-Tulsa program.

Students graduate with a degree from the prestigeous School of Computer Science in the Gallogly College of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. If a student can average at least 15 hours per semester, the entire program can be completed in four years.

OU computer science students develop skills through experiential learning by practicing what is learned in the classroom through real world experiences. With accomplished faculty and expert guest speakers, students are empowered through professional development and receive competitive advantages in pursuing future careers.

Admissions Criteria

To apply for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program at OU-Tulsa, students must have completed at least 60 credit hours from a regionally accredited institution and have a minimumĀ 2.0 GPA. Students interested in pursuing the Computer Science degree at OU-Tulsa are encouraged to contact OU-Tulsa Student Enrollment Center to discuss the program before applying.
