The 2021 OU-Tulsa Convocation will take place on Tuesday, May 11, at 7:00 p.m. at the Mabee Center on the campus of Oral Roberts University.
Graduates from Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 are all invited to participate. Additionally, fall 2019, spring 2020, and summer 2020 graduates will be invited to attend as well, as their ceremonies were cancelled last spring.
Each student's name will be called as they walk across the stage. Masters and Doctoral candidates will be hooded on stage by their faculty.
Masks & Social Distancing Required
Masks will be required of all graduates and attendees at all times. Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the facility. Each graduate will be able to request up to four tickets for family/friends; the ticket request and distribution process will be developed by OU-Tulsa Student Affairs by mid-March. Each graduate's set of seats will be clustered together in a group, and will be seated at least six feet from other groups. Tickets will be required in order for your guests to attend the ceremony; more information is provided below.
Regalia is Required
All graduates should wear appropriate caps, gowns, and tassels. Masters and doctoral level students will also be "hooded" as part of the Convocation ceremony, and must have their hood with them as well, to be hooded on stage. While the official OU regalia is not required, you will need to be in a black gown. If you were unable to attend Graduation Gear Up on March 2nd, in-person and online ordering information will be provided soon. Please check back here for more details.
