What do you like most about working with new students?

I love to see that each new generation of new students seems to be more sure of themselves and expressive than the last! The journey to discover the kind of adult you want to be is a huge growth period and I am honored to be able to assist so many students during that process.

What advice would you give to OU first year students?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help! I truly struggled my first year as a college student and it was only through the support of OU’s staff that I was able to both find my community and my footing on campus. Now, I’m keen on giving back that support and being the person that I needed when I was younger. Help is what we’re here for!

What is your favorite place on campus?

The tables outside of the Union! I love sitting and watching the squirrels, and the ivy-covered scenery makes for some awesome botanical sketch studies! It’s super peaceful.
