Fraternity/Sorority Student Life Registration is Now Open

The Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council have opened their registration for Fall Recruitment.

Have you ever wanted to be a part of something bigger than yourself? The Greek system at the University of Oklahoma began in 1905 when the first fraternity chapter was established.  Many years and thousands of members later, the Greek community is thriving and now offers numerous national and local fraternities and sororities. Entering into the fall 2013 semester, the Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils gear up for their major recruitment period.

The OU Panhellenic Association comprises 11 National Panhellenic Conference sororities, totaling approximately 25 percent of undergraduate female students. The mission for sororities is to better their members through educational experiences and modeling high ideals. Panhellenic invites you to participate in Formal Recruitment from August 7 to 13. During formal recruitment you will meet members from all 11 Panhellenic chapters, allowing you the opportunity to assess the unique features of each organization.  Registration is required to participate in Fall 2013 recruitment so go to pan.ou.edu to register today.

The Interfraternity Council comprises 20 chapters and over 2,000 members that make up close to 25 percent of the undergraduate male students. The Interfraternity Council exists to serve the needs of the 20 fraternities on campus through the coordination of many events and activities throughout the year. The Interfraternity Council invites you to learn more about our 20 chapters and participate in our fall recruitment program hosted August 15 to 20. During formal recruitment you will meet members from all 20 chapters, offering you the ability to learn something about each of our organizations. Registration is required to participate in Fall 2013 recruitment, so go to ifc.ou.edu to register today.
