OU Reception to Honor United World College Scholars for Fifth Consecutive Davis Cup Win

President David L. Boren will address OU’s United World College Scholars at a reception recognizing the university’s fifth consecutive Davis Cup win at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 13.

OU is the only public university in the nation to be awarded the prestigious Davis Cup five consecutive years in a row in recognition of its record-setting enrollment of 63 United World College international freshmen. 

Speakers at the event will include OU President David L. Boren; Craig Hayes, director of OU’s United World College Scholars Program; and student speaker, Youssef Kamel, representing OU’s United World College Scholars student organization.

  • Members of the media are invited to attend the ceremony and luncheon, which will be held in the Sandy Bell Gallery, on the lower level of Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, 555 Elm Ave.
