Your OU account is your key to submitting your enrollment deposit and accessing OU resources such as email, enrollment, grades, course materials, computer labs, OU Libraries resources, and more. You will also need to set up your OU account to complete your housing contract. Many OU offices will only communicate with you via your official OU email account. Please check it regularly.
To set up your account, visit one.ou.edu/activate. You'll need your OU Net ID (4 letters and 4 numbers) to create your account. You'll use this to access all things OU!

Students enroll in classes during their New Sooner Orientation (NSO) day, which takes place over the summer. New Sooner Orientation is the first step in the orientation process for every new student's successful transition to OU. Before students can schedule a NSO day, they must submit their enrollment deposit. Registration for NSO opens February 2026.
To complete your housing contract, your first step is to set up your OU account by visiting one.ou.edu/activate. Once your account is set up, you can complete the housing contract by visiting OU Bound.
