Check the Status of Your Undergraduate Application
Students who applied for undergraduate admission to the Norman campus can check the status of their application by logging in to their application account. Throughout the application process we will communicate primarily through this account and the email address you used to submit your application.
After your application account is created, the first time you login you will need the email address you used to apply and your PIN.
- If you used the University of Oklahoma application you will receive your PIN immediately.
- If you used the Common Application, we will email your PIN within two days of receiving your application. After your initial login, you will be able to setup your application account password.
If you cannot locate your PIN, or believe you are not receiving emails from OU, we encourage you to first check your spam/junk mail folder and add firstname.lastname@example.org to your email contacts list. You may also have your PIN resent by contacting the Office of Admissions and Recruitment at 405-325-2151 or email@example.com.
Most credentials (transcripts, test scores, etc.) take up to two weeks from the date received to post to your application account. Your application is not complete until all required documents have been received.
Transcripts must be submitted by the institution you attended. Transcripts submitted by the applicant are deemed unofficial. We accept official transcripts sent via mail, electronic transcript delivery service, or hand-delivered by the applicant within a sealed envelope from the institution. Undergraduate Applicants should request that mailed transcripts be sent to: 1000 Asp Ave, Room 127; Norman, OK 73019.
Official test scores (ACT, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS) scores must come directly from the testing agency or be listed on the official high school transcript. OU does not have a preference of scores between the ACT or SAT.
When sending scores electronically, use the following school codes: ACT - 3442, SAT - 6879, TOEFL - 6879.
Letters of Reccomendation and Other Documents
Letters of Reccomendation may be uploaded within the application status portal, submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org, or mailed to 1000 Asp Ave, Room 126; Norman, OK 73019.
All other documents may be submitted to email@example.com, or mailed to 1000 Asp Ave, Room 126; Norman, OK 73019.
