As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

In the basketball arena and football stadium! If I wasn't in class or working, you'd likely have seen me cheering for our sports teams—oftentimes one of the loudest.

Define the OU family in your own words.

The OU family in a word—genuine. From the first time I set foot on campus, I felt that each interaction I had was truly heartfelt and genuine.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

I felt the greatest Sooner pride when I got to bring my children onto campus and see how excited they were to be a part of the OU family and community. They got to experience some of the things both of their parents love the most about OU.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

Relationships and connections with fellow classmates and professors—many of which I still maintain to this day, almost 20 years later!

What is your favorite OU tradition?

My husband, who went to OU undergrad, taught me about the Spoonholder on the North Oval lawn. It is a campus myth that if you kiss someone sitting in the Spoonholder, you are destined to marry that person later in life. He kissed me there while we were dating, and we've been married now since 2011!

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Say "YES" to opportunities and experiences that you may not have said yes to in the past. College is such a unique season of life that gives you many things to try.
