As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

The ceramic studio! I am a clay enthusiast after taking several ceramic classes during my undergrad at OU.

Define the OU family in your own words.

My undergraduate years were extremely rewarding and enjoyable thanks to the amazing staff and faculty here at OU. I am so happy that my time at OU did not end after graduation and I can continue my time with the OU family while helping students navigate undergrad life as a Transfer Admissions Counselor. 

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

Being a first generation college graduate, I felt immense pride and accomplishment during my graduation ceremony. I am very proud of my Bachelors degree...even if it took me a few extra years to earn it.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

The greatest gift I received after graduation was self confidence and the feeling of accomplishment.

The Fred Jones Museum of Art is free and they have an original Vincent van Gogh painting!

What is your favorite OU tradition?

It's a weekly tradition of mine to take short and long walks around our beautiful campus all year round. The flowers, trees and squirrels make my heart very happy.

What advice do you have for prospective students? 

Have fun with your electives and try new things that intrigue you. Also, don't forget to have a good time and journal everything! You do not want to forget these magical years.
