The best way to understand the value of our programs is to hear it straight from those who know them best—our students.
I chose to be a CIS major because I have a passion for exploration! I want a chance to bring the world to our fingertips and encourage those to get out of their comfort zones and see what the world has to offer. Being a CIS major has brought more than I could ever hope for. My professors have given me all the material I need to succeed while also being there every step of the way to encourage growth and passion. You are encouraged to study abroad, and my experience was worthwhile in itself as I saw the concepts I learned in my classes unfold in front of my eyes. I also got to go on a professional development trip through CIS that took me to many different government agencies and NGO’s where we got to make connections and further out career prospects. This college has given me everything that I need to succeed while also being a welcoming space to express myself and form meaningful connections.
