This time of your life is filled with so much excitement and intrigue as you begin to iron out the next few years of your life. I’m sure you’re narrowing down your choices for where you want to go to college… allow me to tell you about my experience at the University of Oklahoma.
I attended Edmond Santa Fe High School and graduated in 2002. I had opportunities to go to many schools across the country, but I always knew I wanted to attend OU. OU provided me with an opportunity to stay close enough to home that I could visit my family at any time, but far enough away that it allowed me to grow as a person and venture out on my own.
In addition to receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006, I recently went back and earned my Masters in Business Administration degree. The education I received at OU has prepared me to adapt to an ever-changing business world. Many of my professors were individuals with real-life experiences in their respective fields who could not only teach you classroom principles but also speak to what challenges and obstacles you’ll face in the actual practice of your profession. I apply many of the concepts I learned in my undergraduate and graduate classes every working day.
As you begin to decide on where you will spend the next four years of your life, I hope the University of Oklahoma is a place you will strongly consider. The campus is absolutely beautiful, the amenities and restaurants available are diverse and plentiful, and most importantly, you’ll receive an excellent education that will prepare you for your professional life.
