Scholars' Day

Scholars' Day

Spring 2026 — February 13, 2026

Step into the life of an OU Scholar for a day. At the event, you can sit in on a mock lecture, engage with the Honors College experience, discover how you can take your studies around the world through study abroad, and connect with faculty, staff, and current students who will challenge and inspire you. You'll see firsthand why OU is a destination for curiosity, creativity, and big dreams. By the end of the day, you'll walk away knowing not just what OU can offer, but how you can grow academically, personally, globally and what a scholar's path can look like here.

FOR: Admitted students receiving specific scholarships to OU (National Merit Semifinalists, OU National Award Recipients, Oklahoma State Regents’ Rising Scholars Program Award, Oklahoma State Regents’ Institutional Nominee Award, and Award of Excellence Recipients), and admitted transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa.

Registration is now open! Contact your OU admissions counselor for more information.

The Honors College at Scholars' Day

The Honors College will be hosting a reception during Scholars’ Day. You will learn more about our faculty, classes, programs, and opportunities.

The University of Oklahoma Honors College blends the resources of a major research university with the feel of a close-knit intellectual community. Honors students benefit from smaller classes, meaningful faculty mentorship, undergraduate research from day one, global learning experiences like Honors at Oxford, and a supportive environment that prepares them for careers and leadership beyond OU.
