Communication Graduate Student Association – CGSA

CGSA is one of the graduate student organizations at the University of Oklahoma.

CGSA is the voice of the communication graduate students. Two of our members are delegates to the Graduate Student Senate (GSS) on campus, and CGSA representatives attend our department's faculty meetings.

CGSA helps our graduate students prepare for successful careers. Workshops with our faculty have focused on strengthening the CV, preparing for the job talk, and presentational skills for conferences.CGSA organizes Brown Bag Luncheons, where faculty and students present their research. CGSA also helps our graduate students with funding through travel grants. Finally, CGSA sponsors parties and social events throughout the year.
