The Economics Club seeks to enhance economic knowledge within the OU community through fun and relevant events. Econ Club promotes economics as a field of study to potential majors/minors, hosts events for students of all majors to see different applications of the economic perspective, and provides opportunities for those with a shared interest in economics to meet and network. We welcome all students to come to our meetings. You do not need to have paid any dues, and you do not need to be an Economics major!
We host a weekly speaker series as well as social outings, company information sessions, an annual trip to the Dallas Federal Reserve, and more. Econ Club also gives OU students the chance to learn more about OU Economics professor's research, locate informal peer advising and tutoring, and sometimes discuss various current events as they pertain to economics.
The financial capital of the world, London is a wonderful location to learn about economics! Tour world-renowned academic institutions of financial research with your OU faculty experts. Visit historical sites and see the evolution of industry from ancient, medieval, to modern era.
Come with us as we explore the wonders of Arezzo in Italy! Travel with us and discuss politics, economics, sociology, culture, history, architecture, urban planning, and more over delicious food while you explore and experience everything Italy has to offer.
