Journals and Book Series
The English Department at the University of Oklahoma is affiliated with a number of prestigious publications and magazines related to genre, world literature, and theory. Our department houses and oversees the journal, Genre: Forms of Discourse and Culture, an interdisciplinary journal founded in 1968, and we have a number of faculty that work and are associated with literary projects related to the broader community of the University of Oklahoma. The Variorum Chaucer is a renowned project that aims to provide an analysis of the textual history of Chaucer's individual works and to offer a comprehensive overview of all facets of critical commentary on each work. The department is also proud to be connected with the prestigious World Literature Today (WLT) magazine as well as Chinese Literature Today (CLT).
