Giuseppe Grispino earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in Italian from Rutgers University, where he also completed graduate certificates in World Language Teaching and Cinema Studies. His interdisciplinary background includes an M.A. in Chinese Language and Literature and a B.A. in Asian and North African Studies from Ca' Foscari University of Venice, as well as an M.A. in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Capital Normal University in Beijing.
Before joining the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Grispino taught at Rutgers University, Colgate University, and Ca' Foscari University of Venice. At the University of Oklahoma, he teaches courses on Italian language, literature, culture, cinema, and popular culture.
Outside his scholarly pursuits, he enjoys curating his collections of books and vinyl records, swimming, and exploring Oklahoma's cultural landscape.
