Department Named in Memory of Shyam Dev Patwardhan

On March 12th, the Department of Philosophy at the University of Oklahoma was named in memory of Shyam Dev Patwardhan, a graduate of the department's undergraduate and graduate programs. A celebration of the department's new name and the legacy of Shyam Dev Patwardhan will be held in October.
