Dr. Morgan earned her MPA from the University of Oklahoma in 2009, with concentrations in Public Policy and Public Management. Her career began in the nonprofit sector in Tulsa. She worked three years within a fundraising organization, and then worked six years as a research specialist in OU-Tulsa’s Center of Applied Research for Nonprofit Organizations, where she secured grants and conducted program evaluations within the sector.

Meg was on faculty for five years at Rogers State University as an adjunct instructor in the Public Administration program. She completed her PhD from OU in 2013, focusing on the relationship between the public and nonprofit sector. Her dissertation—A Case Study of a Public Private Partnership in Arts Education—explored the collaboration among the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Tulsa Public School district, and the area nonprofits as they combined efforts to equalize arts education for students in grades K-8. Dr. Morgan is now the graduate liaison for the MPA program on the Tulsa Campus and a Faculty Fellow for Community Engagement and Impact for the College of Arts and Sciences.
