SLIS PhD Candidate Mahdieh Nazari awarded Bullard Dissertation Completion Fellowship

The School of Library and Information Studies is proud to announce that doctoral student, Mahdieh (Maddy) Nazari, was awarded the University of Oklahoma’s Bullard Dissertation Completion Fellowship. This award provides graduate teaching assistants who are doctoral students in the last year of their dissertation research support to buy out of their final semester of teaching. This award supports timely completion of the student’s doctoral degree. A ceremony was held on April 29, 2026 to present the Spring 2026 Graduate Student Awards. Maddy also received the Dodge Family Research Fellowship! The award consists of $3,100 in professional development funds that will be used to support her dissertation research.
